What is a Compatible Ink Cartridge?
Compatible ink cartridges are new cartridges manufactured and tested by a
third party to work exactly the same as the printer manufacturer’s originals.
They are not made from recycled cartridges.
Are Compatible Ink Cartridges the same quality as the printer manufacturer’s
cartridges?
Yes. Due to the complex nature of producing ink cartridges, at Canon Printer
Ink Cartridges we have chosen Xprint, one of the largest printing consumables
companies in the world, as our only supplier of compatible ink cartridges.
Xprint provides compatible ink cartridges which are indistinguishable from
the original product in terms of the product itself, the print quality and
the amount of ink contained in the cartridge. On some occasions, it is common
for the compatible cartridges to hold more ink than the printer manufacturer’s
own.
In addition, the company is accredited with the internationally recognised
ISO9001 certificate of quality.
Will using a Compatible Ink Cartridge affect my printer warranty?
No. By law, a compatible ink cartridge will not void your warranty. However,
as a precaution, check over the warranty of your printer when you purchase
it as some of the printer producers have cleverly worded their warranties.
Some warranties may state that any damage caused by using compatible ink cartridges
in your printer will not be covered by the warranty. However, if the damage
is not caused by the compatible ink cartridges then your warranty still stands.
It is not recommended that you take your printer for repairs or fixing with
compatible ink cartridges inside it.
What is a Remanufactured Cartridge?
A remanufactured ink cartridge is a refilled original cartridge. Many printer
manufacturers now encourage people to recycle ink cartridges and toner cartridges.
These recycled cartridges are then refilled or remanufactured.
Are Remanufactured Ink Cartridges the same quality as the
printer manufacturer’s cartridges?
Yes. Due to the complex nature of producing ink cartridges, at Canon Printer
Ink Cartridges we have chosen Xprint, one of the largest printing consumables
companies in the world, as our only supplier of remanufactured ink cartridges.
Xprint provides remanufactured ink cartridges which are indistinguishable
from the original product in terms of the product itself, the print quality
and the amount of ink contained in the cartridge. On some occasions, it is
common for the remanufactured cartridges to hold more ink than the printer
manufacturer’s own.
In addition, the company is accredited with the internationally recognised
ISO9001 certificate of quality.
Will using a Remanufactured Ink Cartridge affect my printer warranty?
No. By law, a remanufactured ink cartridge will not void your warranty.
However, as a precaution, check over the warranty of your printer when you
purchase it as some of the printer producers have cleverly worded their warranties.
Some warranties may state that any damage caused by using remanufactured ink
cartridges in your printer will not be covered by the warranty. However, if
the damage is not caused by the remanufactured ink cartridges then your warranty
